Switzerland is a big country and one cannot tour it in a day or two but if you want to see Switzerland condensed into 14000 square miles then surely Swiss miniature is a park that you need to go to.

The park is huge as already mentioned and portrays the beauty of the whole country in enclosed space. It is filled with over a hundred models of popular buildings, residences and places surrounded by vegetation. The plants and flowers multiply the magnificence of this park many folds and makes it an eye-catching experience. The models have been made with a lot skill and authenticity to make it look as real as possible. Places like the Cathedral of Milan and the Federal Parliament are all seen in Swiss miniature.

There are 3.5 kilometers of railway tracks in here on which travel model trains to give it another impressive touch. More than a thousand tree types have been planted alongside approximately fifteen thousand flower varieties. It is amazing to see so many different and exotic plantations.

It was inaugurated in 1959 but its impressiveness has increased even more as time has passed. Like we mentioned it is a place to spend a really nice evening with your friends or family. The park is an attraction for kids and adults; it offers a restaurant as well which supplements the overall end experience of tourists.
