The Blues-to-Bop festival, as you can make out from the name, is a festival dedicated to music and melody. The musicians perform in high spirits every night for three days at different locations in Lugano; thus allowing free and enticing music to enter each soul.

The festival then moves towards the lake Ceresio where it goes into full burst with some of the most exhilarating performances which take our experiences from extreme thrill to sentimentalism.
The concerts are a remarkable spectacle of brilliance. The festival ends with a real tear-dropping and emotional performance at the Lugano Cathedral on a Sunday. The audience enjoys this serene, emotional and soul-touching music and in a perfect setting, that is the Cathedral. Finally, the last performance is held in the beautiful area of the Morcote in the evening.

It is filled with over a hundred models of popular buildings, residences and places surrounded by vegetation. The models have been made with a lot skill and authenticity to make it look as real as possible. Places like the Cathedral of Milan and the Federal Parliament are all seen in Swiss miniature.

There are 3.5 kilometers of railway tracks in here on which travel model trains to give it another impressive touch. More than a thousand tree types have been planted alongside approximately fifteen thousand flower varieties. It is amazing to see so many different and exotic plantations.

It was inaugurated in 1959 but its impressiveness has increased even more as time has passed. Like we mentioned it is a place to spend a really nice evening with your friends or family.
